HYBE Signs Distribution Deal With Tencent Music, Songs To Be Available On The Chinese Market

According to industry sources on the 24th, HYBE has entered into a music distribution contract with Tencent Music, a subsidiary of Tencent known as the “IT giant” in China, further strengthening its global market expansion.

With this agreement, HYBE’s affiliated artists’ music will be available on Tencent Music’s platforms, including QQ Music and many more.

Tencent Music is the largest music entertainment company in China, operating music platforms. They have already established strategic collaborations with major K-pop agencies such as SM Entertainment, YG Entertainment, and JYP Entertainment.

Through the distribution contract between HYBE and Tencent Music, HYBE’s artists will be able to release their music in China simultaneously with their domestic releases. HYBE represents popular artists such as BTS, SEVENTEEN, ENHYPEN, NewJeans and more.
