Former (G)I-DLE member Seo Soojin is currently preparing for her solo debut with a newly established agency, aiming for a debut in October.
According to News1’s report on the 16th of October, Seo Soojin recently signed a contract with BRD Communications and has been preparing for her solo debut. She is reportedly aiming to debut this month.
Seo Soojin opened her Instagram account on June 30th and cautiously started communicating with fans. This led to speculation within the industry that she has started her official preparations for a solo debut.
Later, a representative from the agency BRD Communications announced that they have signed an exclusive contract with Soojin and revealed that she is planning to release an album by the end of the year.
Soojin faced controversy regarding school violence in 2021, which led to her departure from the group (G)I-DLE and the termination of her exclusive contract with Cube Entertainment in August of that year.
Since then, she has been on hiatus but has continued to communicate with fans through her personal channel. With the announcement of her exclusive contract with the new agency BRD Communications and the news of a new album, public attention is now focused on her upcoming comeback and future activities.
