Lim Young Min, who left the group AB6IX after causing controversy over drunk driving, opened an SNS account and made a comeback.
Lim Young Min said on Instagram on January 9th, “I am greeting you after a long time. I have deeply looked back on my actions over the past time. I was able to come this far thanks to the people who care about me. And I have the courage to greet you like this to become a better person. I will try my best to become it.”
Lim Young Min became popular through Mnet’s “Produce 101” Season 2 in 2017, and later debuted in AB6IX with Jeon Woong, Kim Dong Hyun, Park Woo Jin and Lee Dae Hwi. However, in May 2020, he was caught by the police while driving to his accommodation in his car after drinking alcohol with his acquaintances and had his driver’s license revoked. Afterwards, he left AB6IX, saying that he could not harm the team, and AB6IX was reorganized into a 4-member group. Lim Young Min enlisted in the military in November 2020 and was discharged in May of last year.
