Former 2NE1 Member Dara Leaves YG Entertainment After 17 Years

Former 2NE1 Member Dara has departed her agency of 17 years!

On May 14, YG Entertainment released an official statement to announce that Dara’s exclusive contract with them has expired and that she’s decided not to renew it.

Dara first joined YG in 2004 and debuted with 2NE1 in 2009, she’s been active in various fields such as acting, fashion, beauty, and as an MC.

YG asked fans to show support and love for Dara, they stated,

“We would like to express our gratitude to Dara who has been with YG with special trust and affection.

YG will always support the challenges Dara takes on and we will continuously help her until she completes preparations for her new start.”

Dara is the last member of her former group to depart YG.
