Fans Furious With How Apink Was Treat At 2019 KBS Gayo Daechukje, Performance Cut Off Plus More
KBS has done something that infuriated fans and its making headlines everywhere and currently trending news.
Apink was one of the many groups who appeared at tonight’s’ 2019 KBS Gayo Daechukje. However, fans found issues with the way the girls were treated.
First, Apink didn’t get the chance to have photo-time on the red carpet despite the fact that other groups who came after Apink got the chance to do that, Apink is one of the most senior artists who attended the show, they’re into their 9th year as a group and fans believe they deserved more respect.
But that wasn’t the main issue; fans noticed that as Apink finished their performance they turned around while the screen just cut off indicating the performance had ended. Fans noticed that Apink were looking at their dancers as if they were preparing to wrap up the stage with another performance, music also started playing in the background.
Just saw how KBS Gayo cut off Apink’s performance halfway??
Where is the respect for Apink? They did not work hard and practise, just to get this kind of treatment.Never have I seen Chorong this mad and so done…#JusticeForApink #가요대축제_해명해pic.twitter.com/FYySmZUg9I

KBS cut off the performance but it is unknown if it was intentional or accidental. Regardless, fans were furious with KBS management and are currently trending #JusticeForApink on twitter; it’s one of the top trending hashtags online as of this writing.
Fans believe KBS should’ve allowed Apink to continue their performance and that they should’ve shown them better respect as a senior group that has been in the industry for so long.
The performance was also very short in comparison to other groups who were younger than them not to mention the poor camera work. Fans also claim that the girls didn’t get the chance to rehearse due to delays despite getting there since the morning.
Apink Son Naeun later took to Instagram to upload the full video of their dance practice to the part that was cut off, she also expressed her gratitude to fans who shown them support and expressed regret at not being able to show the last moments of their performance.
Chorong also turned on V Live broadcast after their appearance and fans noticed that her eyes were very puffy and her face was red which led them to believe she was crying before turning on the broadcast.
KBS has not responded to the fans’ request for a proper explanation as of this writing.
Here is what fans thought of this below:
it isn’t even that hard to show basic respect for a 9 year idol group like Apink. it takes a lot of time & effort to practice in order to be on stage for those short 3 minutes. to cut a performance like this is literally saying you don’t care#가요대축제_해명해 #JusticeforApink pic.twitter.com/M1HjK26t2i

Chorong said that they doesn’t want to come to the show at first, but they want to give something to Panda even just one. They were not regretted coming to the show. It’s only just for Panda.

this on top of being given some of the lowest airtime for gayo daejeon the other day along with AOA.. the most senior artists there. it’s clear older female artists aren’t respected despite their impact and how long they’ve been around #JusticeForApink #가요대축제_해명해 https://t.co/7Om1cK3RV9

Once again we are seeing SENIOR GROUPS be treated horribly. I may not stan Apink but that doesn’t mean I won’t take a stand against this poor treatment. Their stage being cut off WAS NOT the only shitty thing they had to deal with tonight #JusticeForApink

The fact that Naeun, the one who usually doesn’t say much, was the first to post about the incident, says a lot.
The post in summary was Naeun thanking members, dancers, staff and fans for all their hard work and hopes that future events will be safer and fairer#JusticeForApink— 륮령 ୧⍢⃝୨ (@1tzy_) December 27, 2019
i hope pandas won’t stop until we get the explanation and apology from kbs!! apink doesn’t need to be sorry!!!!! they have nothing to be sorry about! #가요대축제_해명해 #JusticeForApink pic.twitter.com/PK5iasCSR7
