HyunA is in a tight spot after posting photos of her new hairstyle!
UPDATE:
After fans trended her name on twitter and left comments on her Instagram about why she should delete the pictures, HyunA addressed the situation in a video.
HyunA said in a video,
“Guys, I am going to bed soon. I respect and acknowledge all my fans who love me so don’t think too badly about it. Let’s try to understand each other, understood [in a cute way]? Good night.”

Fans opinions are divided after seeing her video, some think she’s not doing anything wrong while others expressed how disappointed they were in her even more after the video.
On January 16, HyunA posted a series of photos and videos of her new hairstyle to her Instagram. It was immediately met with mixed responses, as some people began expressing how disappointed they were in HyunA because of her hairstyle.
On Twitter, her name soon began to rise on the top of worldwide trends; it’s currently sitting at number 4 as of this writing. She is being accused of cultural appropriation.

As I’m not black I can’t say anything to the actual meaning of the braids and all that. But on her those braids ugly as hell
