BREAKING: EXO’s Kyungsoo To Leave SM, Here Is How He’ll Handle Personal Activities
EXO‘s Kyungsoo is entering into solo activities and leaving SM!
SM Entertainment (hereinafter referred to as SM) announced on the 18th of October, “Kyungsoo’s exclusive contract will expire in early November.”
Kyungsoo will be working independently with his long-time manager for his personal activities. His activities with EXO will continue with SM.
SM stated, “After discussing with Kyungsoo, we have decided to continue his activities as a member of EXO with SM. His acting and personal activities will be carried out through a newly established company by his former manager.”
Kyungsoo’s long-time manager is Nam Kyung Soo, who has become independent from SM Entertainment. Kyungsoo has previously shown his close relationship with his manager in acceptance speeches and interviews.
Earlier, reports came out to allege that the idol-actor is leaving SM and establishing his own agency.
Meanwhile, Kyungsoo, who debuted as a member of EXO in 2012, started his acting career with SBS’s “It’s Okay, That’s Love” in 2014. Since then, he has appeared in various works such as tvN’s “100 Days My Prince,” and various films, and has been recognized for his acting skills.
Earlier this year, he met with audiences through the film “The Moon,” and is currently appearing in a tvN variety show.
