BTS Is The First Kpop Group To Enter The Top 40 In Billboard’s Top 100

Another day, another record broken by BTS!

BTS has made history this past couple of days, it became the first Kpop group to enter the top 40 in Billboard’s hot 100 chart, the group has grabbed the 28th spot breaking their previous record.

The collaboration remix track with DJ Steve Aoki and rapper Desiigner continued to soar higher, back on December 4 Billboard had announced that the song is now at spot 28.



BTS has previously said that their next goal was to enter Billboard’s top 50, army has worked hard to stream and buy the new remix song to help the group achieve their goal.

According to Nielsen Music; which calculates the top 100 based on streaming, sales and radio airplay data; the song has been streamed 9.8 million times and has sold 45,000 copies in first week alone.

As a result, and as expected, Army trended the hashtag #BTSHOT100_28 on Twitter in celebration of the group’s huge milestone, the hashtag has more than 230K tweets as of this article publish date and time.
