BIGBANG’s Daesung is embarking on full-fledged global activities.

According to his agency, Daesung opened the official website for his Japanese fan club, “D’s Light,” on the 28th of June, signaling the start of his official activities.

In addition, Daesung also announced his participation in “Water Bomb Japan 2023,” which is Korea’s representative summer festival that has been expanding its reach beyond the domestic market. Daesung plans to perform on the “Water Bomb” stage, starting in Osaka on July 15th, followed by Nagoya on July 23rd, and Tokyo on July 29th, delivering an amazing performance.

Daesung has already established a strong presence in Japan, building an exceptional career there. After his solo debut in Japan in 2014 with the album “D’scover,” Daesung released albums such as “D’slove,” “Delight,” and “D-Day,” showcasing active musical activities. He achieved consecutive No. 1 rankings on the Oricon Weekly CD Album Chart with two of his works, solidifying his presence.

Moreover, in 2017, Daesung successfully completed his first solo dome tour in Japan, holding four performances in two cities and attracting over 200,000 spectators. In the same year, he also participated in Japan’s largest summer festival, a-nation, further proving his popularity as a solo artist.

In April of this year, Daesung announced a fresh start under a new agency.
