BIGBANG’s Taeyang is preparing for a comeback in April.

Taeyang’s agency, The Black Label, told Newsen on March 28, “Taeyang is preparing an album with the goal of making a comeback in April. Nothing has been decided yet.”

In January, Taeyang made a solo comeback with the new song ‘VIBE’ featuring BTS Jimin and proved his potential by sweeping domestic and international charts.

Not only did it surpass 100 million streams on Spotify but it also reached the top of iTunes in 100 regions and achieved feats such as No. 1 on the US Billboard Hot Trending Song, No. 76 on the Billboard main single chart HOT100, and No. 9 on the Billboard Global Chart.

Taeyang, who has proven unwavering popularity in his solo career after a long time, is quickly preparing for a comeback. Fans’ expectations are also rising.
