Attrakt Entertainment (represented by Jeon Hong-joon) is proceeding with a lawsuit for damages against the involved in the termination of the exclusive contracts of three former members of FIFTY FIFTY.

Attrakt Entertainment stated on December 19th, “Regarding the former FIFTY FIFTY members Saena, Sio, and Aran, we have filed a civil lawsuit claiming damages and penalty for breach of exclusive contracts. We have also filed a lawsuit claiming damages for joint tortious acts against The Givers, Ahn Sung-il, Baek Jin-sil, and the parents of the three members who actively participated in the unfair termination of the exclusive contracts.”

The amount of damages and penalty calculated by Attrakt Entertainment is estimated to be several hundred billion won [several millions of dollars]. However, it is known that the lawsuit has been filed in an explicit partial claim manner at the stage of submitting the complaint, taking into account the possibility of further damages during the lawsuit process.

Attorney Park Jae-hyun from the law firm Gwangjang, who is representing the lawsuit, stated, “This lawsuit may serve as an important opportunity to establish fair trade practices in the entertainment industry, beyond simple compensation for damages. We will do our best to carry out the lawsuit with this in mind.”
