YG Entertainment’s Head Yang Hyun Suk has just announced the news that Ahyeon has finally returned to BABYMONSTER!
Originally, BABYMONSTER was planned to debut as a seven-member group, including Ahyeon. However, due to health reasons, Ahyeon took a break and missed out on their debut.
On January 25 KST, BABYMONSTER’s official channel unveiled two new videos, one of which was the teaser for the group’s upcoming song and the other an announcement video by Yang Hyun Suk confirming Ahyeon’s returning to the group. He said the idol is now re-recording the songs including the debut song and the songs for the group’s upcoming album.
He also revealed that the group will release its first mini album on April 1st. Check out the announcement video below!
Ahyeon was introduced as a ‘center with confidence’ who is capable of both vocals and rap. YG CEO Yang Hyun Suk once referred to Ahyeon as a “warrior with many weapons” and she was often compared to BLACKPINK’s Jennie or nicknamed “Little Jennie.”
BABYMONSTER will be releasing another pre debut single entitled ‘Stuck in the Middle’ on February 1 KST.
