Billlie’s Moon Sua brought tears to fans’ eyes at her mention of the late Moonbin.
On the 4th of May, Billlie’s first solo fan concert, ‘Your B, I’m B (Belllie’ve You)’ was held and the members communicated with their fans.
This fan concert was especially meaningful as it was Billlie’s first concert in Korea since their debut in 2021. It was even more special because it marked the return of Moon Sua and Soohyun after their hiatus due to health reasons, allowing them to promote as a complete group.
Moon Sua expressed her gratitude towards the members while sharing her overwhelming emotions about hosting the fan concert. She said, “This moment feels like a dream. One of my bucket list items was to have a concert as Billlie, and it is so meaningful that our first performance as a complete group after my return is at this fan concert today.”
Choked with tears, Moon Sua said, “There have been many things happening. That’s why I wanted to organize my thoughts and show a good appearance to the fans. It was a big goal for the seven members of Billlie. I am extremely thankful to all the fans who have come here.”
Struggling to speak due to overwhelming emotions, Moon Sua gradually revealed her inner thoughts amidst the warm encouragements from the members. Shouts of “Suah, I love you!” erupted from various parts of the audience.
Moon Sua mentioned Moonbin, saying, “I wanted to show this stage to everyone, but there was someone in particular that I wanted to show it to. However, that person supported me from afar or very close and gave me strength to smile again in front of all of you and perform on stage with the members. I want to express my gratitude.”
She added, “I will continue to make more amazing appearances, so I hope that person will support me even more, and I hope all of you will keep watching over me.”
Moonbin passed away in April of last year. Moon Sua suspended her activities thereafter but made a comeback. However, based on the advice of experts who said she needed more stability, she suspended her activities once again. Recently, her health improved significantly, leading to her return.
