VLAST (hereinafter referred to as ‘the company’) is continuously monitoring malicious comments, insults, and defamation towards PLAVE members, as well as acts of revealing artists’ personal information and spreading baseless rumors about the company. We carefully review the cases reported by fans and take serious legal action against them.
The company is actively taking legal action against malicious online activities targeting PLAVE, and has completed criminal complaints in November 2023 for about 30 cases where criminal punishment was deemed possible after reviewing over 20,000 cases reported and evidence collected by the company. Legal action has been taken against individuals who spread baseless rumors about PLAVE and the company on Twitter.
The cases filed are currently under investigation, and we have been informed by the Mapo Police Station, the investigating agency, that they have collected IP addresses related to all the cases filed. Due to the investigative process, we are now making this announcement. We demand strict punishment for these suspects without any leniency, and we will firmly proceed with all legal procedures such as civil damages claims after criminal punishment. This policy of the company will be equally applied to all future cases.
We sincerely appreciate every report sent by fans, knowing that each report is a valuable expression of love and concern for PLAVE. We will make every effort to ensure that the reports sent will be acted upon in every way possible, and promise to do our best to protect and promote the rights of our artists.
We are always grateful for the continuous love and support from fans, and we will continue to strive to repay you with even better performances in the future.
