Rumors Of Staff Member In Her 20s Grooming 14-Year-Old Kpop Idol Go Viral, Agency Denies And Promises Strict Legal Action
The official position of FANTASY BOYS member Kim Gyu Rae (14) and his agency has been released addressing rumors of a romantic relationship with a woman in her 20s.
On the 18th of December, Pocket Doll Studio, the agency of FANTASY BOYS, issued a statement addressing the recent shocking rumors.
The shocking rumors refer to when an anonymous netizen accused a 22-year-old stylist of an inappropriate and illegal romantic relationship with Fantasy Boys‘ Kim Gyurae, who is 14 years old.
The person alleges they saw the 14-year-old holding hands with Stylist S outside and then asked their friend for the pair’s private Instagram accounts. Various screenshots of alleged conversations between the two then were spread on social media to the shock of fans.
The official statement from Pocket Doll Studio is as follows:
Hello, this is Pocket Doll Studio.
We would like to provide some information regarding the issue involving FANTASY BOYS member Kim Gyu Rae.
We sincerely apologize for the disappointment and confusion caused to the team, members, and fans due to the unauthorized leaking and dissemination of personal life-related issues through SNS and online communities.
However, we want to clarify that the contents of the leaked conversation have the potential for misunderstanding.
The individual responsible for leaking and disseminating the SNS content has been using malicious techniques such as editing messenger conversations and spreading unfounded false information, resulting in severe damage to the artist’s reputation.
We kindly request that the distribution of photos and contents that cause further misunderstandings be stopped, and we ask everyone to refrain from speculating about the incident.
We have been monitoring the situation, collecting evidence, and identifying the person responsible for the unauthorized leaking and dissemination. We plan to file a complaint with the police station later today. We are also considering additional legal measures, including actions against the individual for defamation, cybercrimes, and other illegal activities.
We assure you that we will take strong measures without any agreement or leniency against any secondary acts that create and disseminate indiscriminate privacy-related content and further reproduce it in order to protect the artist and fans.
