aespa has announced their comeback in May.
On March 16th, an official from SM Entertainment told My Daily, “aespa is preparing for a comeback in May. Please look forward to it.”
aespa’s comeback is about 10 months after the 2nd mini album ‘Girls’ in July of last year. Initially, the new album was scheduled to be released on February 20, but there was a setback in the schedule due to a dispute over the management rights of SM Entertainment.
aespa also announced the comeback at their concert last month. They held their first solo concert ‘SYNK: HYPER LINE’ at Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in Songpa-gu, Seoul last month, and said, “We will make a comeback soon and show you a more special and fun image. Please look forward to his comeback and future aespa activities.”
aespa is continuing their world tour and will be the first K-pop group to perform on stage at the music festival ‘Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival’ held in Golden Gate Park, San Francisco, USA from August 11 to 13.
