Singer Lee Chae Yeon and LABOUM‘s Haein have decided to withdraw from Mnet’s program ‘Queendom Puzzle’, and the program will proceed without any additional cast members to fill their spots.
According to media reports on May 18, Lee Chae Yeon and Haein have made the final decision not to participate in Mnet’s ‘Queendom Puzzle’, and there will be no additional casting as a result. Mnet had previously announced the two idols would be participating in the show.
Later, “Queendom” spin-off series “Queendom Puzzle” confirmed the news via an official statement. Mnet said they decided to leave for personal reasons.
Lee Chaeyeon and Haein will leave the program after the initial recording. The early recorded footage will be broadcasted as is without any editing.
‘Queendom Puzzle’ is a music variety show that combines members of existing girl groups or female artists like puzzle pieces to create a global project girl group. As a new season of ‘Queendom’, Taeyeon from Girls’ Generation will continue to be the MC, as she did in Season 2.
The first episode will air on June 13th.
