Seems like fans will have to wait longer before they catch the next episode of “2 Days & 1 Night”.

The KBS union strike has started 2 weeks ago and it will be very difficult to film anymore episodes of the popular variety show.

An official statement was released, KBS stated,

“The filming for ‘2 Days & 1 Night’ for September 15 and 16 has been cancelled.”

The strike is calling for the resignation of the president Ko Dae Young, the union is demanding that the president stops attempting to fabricate and oppress and forge critical news content. At KBS there are currently 1130 producers and reporters who stopped working.

The 6 main production staff has all joined the strike since they’re a part of the KBS labor union. Since the strike continues, more variety shows will likely stop airing as a result.

Meanwhile, MBC labor union has been on strike ever since September 4, all their variety shows including “Infinite challenge”, “Radio Star” have been cancelled.
