“MY Happy Ending” has wrapped up its run earlier today, let us go through the finale and explain the ending!
Yoon Jin kidnaps AH Rin from the airport and Jae Won frantically searches for her. She calls for help and police begin searching. Yoon Jin ends up taking her to an ice cream shop and says she wanted to do this with her daughter if she had one. She even asks if she knows about her dad or not, but she says she knows mom is hiding it for something important so its okay.
She ends up delivering her to her home, and calls Jae Won to let her know. Then, she ends up dying from a car accident and detectives catch her dead.
1 year later
Jae Won ends up visiting the psychiatrist Su Gyeong about her hallucinations, the doctor ends up guiding her. Jae Won is still hard at work and oversees their projects finally pass and succeed, they have worked so hard on them, the team ends up celebrating with her credit card and she decides not to go with them.
She then ends up writing a letter to the employees talking about what she’d done and how sorry she felt for not behaving correctly, she resigns as the CEO and Yun Te Oh gets appointed instead.
She ends up going to see her dad and suggests they live together, the dad and Ah Rin end up deciding to tell her to take a break alone, she does so and is still hallucinating and seeing things which is why she decided to see a doctor about it.
She still hallucinates and sees her mother, she then decides to confront her hallucination head on and asks her mother to cook her and such, she ends up talking about how she nearly killed her and asks her to apologize to her for what she’d done. The doctor remarks this is good news.
On another day, Jae Won takes Ah Rin to see her dad and explains he died, she cries and says she misses him badly. She says hi to him where he’d buried.
Yun Te O ends up meeting with Jae Won as a freelancer now, she joins the company to work with them on a project. Later after their meeting, she thanks him for becoming the CEO and taking care of the company.
Nam Tae Joo gets released from prison and his teammate even buys him shoes.
Ah Rin is now going to school and her mom is hard at work as a freelance and Yun Te O accompanies her on an outdoor project activity, he brings them up and says he’s ready to wait, she tries to drive him away saying she’s sick but he refuses what she said saying her illness is just a small part of her not all of her, she says he might have to wait for a long time, he’s excited to hear this and asks how long it’ll take. She does not answer him.
On another day, Jae Won takes her daughter and dad to the beach, she talks about how happiness fades and is not easy to achieve, she still hallucinates but decides to do her best to tackle it head on and face it. The end.
