Yoo Ah In’s legal representative has revealed their position regarding the postponement of the date of the police investigation.
Infinity, Yoo Ah In’s legal representative firm, said on March 23rd, “The case being investigated by the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency’s Drug Crime Investigation Unit regarding drug use,” adding, “We have been informed by the Drug Crime Investigation Unit to attend this Friday (March 24).”
The defense team emphasized that Yoo Ah In’s summons was supposed to be private information but all the media outlets have reported it. Therefore, they have requested a change in the date.
Previously, Yoo Ah In was scheduled to be investigated by the police on March 24th. However, the date of attendance was known to the media in advance, and Yoo Ah In, feeling the burden, seems to have requested a private summons.
Yoo Ah In is accused of habitual use of propofol and four types of narcotics, including marijuana, cocaine, and ketamine. The investigation team conducted a search and seizure of Yoo Ah In’s home and the hospital where propofol was administered. An investigation was also conducted by Yoo Ah In’s acquaintances and agency officials.
