“Squid Game” Makes History Receiving Four Nominations For The 28th Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards
“Squid Game” has made history after the recent announcement for the 28th Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards was made.
On January 12 local time, the SAG Awards officially announced this year’s nominees and among that list was “Squid Game.”
“Squid Game” has become the first non-English language TV series ever to be nominated for an award.
“Squid Game” has been nominated for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series, which is the top prize in the SAG Awards’ drama category, its competing against “The Handmaid’s Tale,” “The Morning Show,” “Succession,” and “Yellowstone.”
Lee Jung Jae was nominated for Best Actor in Drama Series while Jung Ho Yeon was nominated for Best Actress in Drama Series. Lastly, “Squid Game” was also nominated for Best Stunt Ensemble in a TV Series
