Song Kang’s last project has been revealed to be “Sweet Home 2”!
The production presentation for the Netflix original series “Sweet Home 2” was held in Seoul on the 30th. Song Kang, Lee Jin Wook, Lee Si Young, Go Min Si, Jinyoung, Yoo Seung Oh, Kim Moo Yeol and director Lee Eung-bok attended the event.
Regarding “Sweet Home 2,” Song Kang said, “It is my last work before military enlistment. It is my duty to promote Sweet Home, so I will do my best while I am here.”
When asked if his mindset was different because it was his last work before military enlistment, he revealed, “It wasn’t that my mindset was different because it was my last work. Since it is the biggest work that made me who I am today, I thought about it a lot and wrote a lot about Hyun Soo in my diary.”
He continued, “Since it is a creature genre, it is different from reality. I tried to think a lot when there were parts that I didn’t understand. Hyun Soo has a desire to save the monster outbreak. I thought a lot about that mindset.”
“Sweet Home 2” Season 2 is a Netflix series that depicts Hyun Soo, the survivors of Green Home, and the emergence of another entity, as they fight their own battles to survive in a world where desires turn into monsters, leaving Green Home behind and facing unknown mysterious phenomena. Director Lee Eung-bok, who led the global success of ‘Sweet Home’ Season 1, returns with a new desire, incidents, and battles in an expanded space, diverse stories and characters, and a new world.
“Sweet Home 2” will be released on December 1st.
