Kim Yoo Jung and Song Kang are set to captivate viewers with their soul-saving romance.
The production team of the new SBS Friday-Saturday drama “My Demon,” which will premiere on November 24th, revealed the first script reading on the 17th of October.
“My Demon” is a fantasy romantic comedy that unfolds through a contract marriage between the demon-like heiress Do Do-Hee (Kim Yoo Jung) and the demon Jeong Jung Gu-Won (Song Kang), who loses his powers in an instant. The romance of salvation with the devil, who offers limited happiness and leads to hell through a “soul guarantee,” presents a different dimension of excitement.
The script reading on this day was attended by director Kim Janghan, writer Choi Ail, and trusted actors such as Kim Yoo Jung, Song Kang, Lee Sang Yi, Kim Hae Sook, Cho Hye Ju, Kim Tae Hoon and more.
Kim Yoo Jung transforms into Do Do-Hee, a future group heiress who nobody believes in and who falls in love with a demon. Do Do-Hee, who is an outsider in the future group, is a character who has become cold and cynical after realizing the truth of the world.
Song Kang undergoes a transformation into the flawless and fatal demon Jung Gu-Won, who has enjoyed eternal life by making dangerous yet sweet deals with humans, disregards them as insignificant and has reigned as the top predator for over 200 years. However, he loses his powers in an instant due to his strange encounter with the peculiar woman.
The chemistry between Kim Yoo Jung and Song Kang, who have garnered everyone’s anticipation, impressed viewers even from the first script reading.
Lee Sang Yi took on the role of Joo Seok-hoon, the representative of Future Investment and an elite. Seok-hoon is the only person who feels a sense of camaraderie with Do-hee, who is the niece of the founder of Future Group, Joo Chun-sook (played by Kim Hae Sook).
SBS’s new Friday-Saturday drama “My Demon” will air its first episode on November 24th at 10 PM, following “The Escape Of The Seven.”
