SHINee’s Minho and Chae Soo Bin will be leading the upcoming Netflix series “The Fabulous” [literal title].
Recently, Netflix announced that the two actors will be leading their upcoming drama called “The Fabulous.” “The Fabulous” tells the story of the work, passion, romance, and friendships of young men and women who work in the fashion industry.
Chae Soo Bin is taking on the role of Pyo Ji Eun, the manager of a PR agency for luxury brands. She’s someone who has always loved pretty things and fights to survive in the industry now that she’s an adult who has longed to be a part of it.
Minho will be the freelance photo retoucher Ji Woo Min who is nearly perfect. The one thing he lacks is passion, and he’s not the type to be tied down by work or love. He maintains a relationship with Pyo Ji Eun that swings between a friendship and the beginning of a romance.

Why is it that in such stories about fashion we’re getting the freelance photographer? Or freelance perfect guy? This reminds me of the currently airing drama “Now we are breaking up” and also reminds me of “WWW: Search.” I don’t know what is it with such stories always having similar plot lines.
I guess this will be one of Netflix’s safe kdramas next year. The combination is definitely cute and I like both actors. Minho is definitely underrated as an actor. I can’t say the plot outline is intriguing in any way but it doesn’t sound terrible either.
