Disney+ original series “Shadow Detective 2” has finally confirmed its premiere date!
“Shadow Detective” which aired in the autumn of 2022, tells the story of veteran detective “Kim Taek-rok,” who becomes a murder suspect due to a mysterious phone call, as he pursues an unidentified blackmailer named “Friend.” The immersive storytelling and the outstanding performances of veteran actors, including Lee Sung Min, garnered much attention. With fans’ requests for Season 2 intensifying after the shocking finale, the series is now returning with a more powerful lineup and story, further heightening expectations.
On June 7, Disney+ released the first teaser poster featuring the main actor Lee Sung Min. he stares at the camera with a stern expression as if he’s being interrupted while working on something, hinting at the work he’ll do to clear his name in the 2nd season.
“Shadow Detective 2” also features Kyung Soo Jin and Lee Hak Ju. Additionally, Jung Jin Young and Kim Shin Rok joined the 2nd season of the drama and are expected to bring their A-game to the series.
“Shadow Detective 2” airs on July 5 on Disney+.
