Actor Park Seo Joon’s appearance in the movie ‘The Marvels’ is receiving a lot of attention and backlash from some k-netizens, here is why!

On the 8th, the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) movie ‘The Marvels’, in which Park Seo Joon appears, was released. As actor Ma Dong Seok had shown dazzling performances by playing one of the main characters in the same Marvel movie ‘Eternals’, expectations from domestic fans were high for Park Seo Joon as the next actor.

However, immediately after the movie was released, there were voices expressing disappointment about Park Seo Joon’s screen time. Although he played the role of Yon and even showed a dancing scene with the main character Captain Marvel in the trailer, his actual appearance time in the movie was only 2 minutes and 47 seconds.

Park Seo Joon left for the filming of ‘The Marvels’ on September 3, 2021, and returned on November 2, after a considerable filming period, fans who had high expectations are expressing confusion.

Despite the limited amount of screen time, director Nia DaCosta expressed her affection for Park Seo Joon. She said, “Through this movie, I wanted to go back to the past of ‘Captain Marvel'” and “One of the people she meets is Yon. Although the screen time is short, he has a presence and plays an important role.”

Meanwhile, ‘The Marvels’ is Park Seo Joon’s first Hollywood debut. Park Seo Joon expressed his astonishment at becoming a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, saying, “I am amazed that I am in this movie. Everything is just surprising.”

  1. No kidding. Hollywood just trying to catch the K-Wave to make more money. They have him in long enough to get money from people that normally wouldn’t go see it. I cringe when K*Stars get anywhere near the garbage of Hollywood.
