Actor Park Bo Gum might be making his debut on the musical stage soon!
Park Bo Gum’s agency, The Black Label, announced on July 4th, “We are positively considering his appearance in the musical ‘Let Me Fly’.”
The original musical ‘Let Me Fly’ depicts the story of a night in 1969 when Apollo 11 was launched towards the moon, focusing on the neighborhood’s best seamstress, Namwon, who has a dream of becoming a fashion designer and is taking a step closer to her beloved Jeongbun, as she opens her eyes in 2020.
‘Let Me Fly’ received a warm response from its premiere and was nominated in six categories at the 7th Korea Musical Awards, winning three awards including Best Production, Best Composition, and Best New Actor.
Park Bo Gum, who graduated from the Film Musical Department at Myongji University, has shown his passion for musicals by actively participating as a musical director during his college years.
As he has been active in dramas and movies since his debut, there is a lot of interest focused on Park Bo Gum’s stage acting as he is highly likely to step onto the musical stage for the first time.
Meanwhile, ‘Let Me Fly’ will be performed at Yes24 Stage in Daehangno, Seoul, from September 26th to December 10th.
