The drama ‘Goodbye Earth’, starring actor Yoo Ah In, who is currently under suspicion of drug use, has announced its position on the planned release next year.

Recently, YTN exclusively reported that ‘Goodbye Earth’ was under discussion for an April release next year, and that Yoo Ah In’s scenes will be edited as much as possible. This attracted attention as the highly anticipated drama was originally slated to be released in the latter half of this year and was postponed due to the actor going through drug use allegations.

‘Goodbye Earth’ is a Netflix original series that tells the story of a world in chaos and the people living in it as they face the imminent end of the world with the collision of Earth and an asteroid in 200 days. Actors Ahn Eun Jin, Jung Sung Woo, and Kim Yoon Hye also star in the drama.

A Netflix representative commented on the report stating, “After discussions with the production team, we have decided to temporarily postpone the release of ‘Goodbye Earth’.”

They added, “There is currently no set release schedule, and we will inform you again as soon as a specific release date is confirmed.”

On December 12, Yoo Ah In attended his first trial for drug use allegations.
