Actor Nam Joo Hyuk‘s agency said that he had nothing to do with the so-called ‘sparring video’ that was recently released.
On April 28th, the agency Management Soop said, “It is clear that there is no relationship between Nam Joo Hyuk and the so-called ‘sparring’ video uploaded on YouTube. Also, he did not force anyone to spar.”
“Nam Joo Hyuk learned about the existence of the video during his first meeting with the informant. Nam Joo Hyuk does not appear in the video at all, and it does not contain any content related to him,” the agency stressed.
The agency also mentioned the YouTube channel ‘Lee Jin Ho Behind the Entertainment’ that released the video, saying, “We strongly express disappointment for the YouTube media that mentioned that Nam Joo Hyuk was involved in the sparring.”
In addition, the agency said, “The investigation is currently underway. It’s very difficult to prove that he didn’t do anything. Please refrain from one-sided reports until clear investigation results come out.”
On the 26th, ‘Lee Jin-ho, Behind the Entertainment’, released a video of A, who claimed to be a victim of Nam Joo Hyuk’s abuse, sparring on his YouTube channel.
The video shows two male students fighting in a dark classroom. However, it was difficult to confirm that Nam Joo Hyuk was at the scene.

According to the report, he claimed, “I suffered school violence for a total of 6 years from middle school to high school. In response, the agency at the time filed a criminal complaint against the media and Mr. A, who reported, saying, “We have confirmed that all of the information in question is not true.” on charges of violating the Act on Promotion of Information and Communication Network Use and Information Protection.
On the other hand, Nam Joo Hyuk entered the army training center in Nonsan, Chungcheongnam-do on the 20th of last month and is serving in the military.
