The hit MBC drama “The Story Of Park’s Marriage Contract” has come to an end!

According to Nielsen Korea, the finale of “The Story Of Park’s Marriage Contract” recorded an average nationwide rating of 9.3% ending its run as the No.1 drama in its time slot. It was also crowned the most-watched miniseries of the entire evening.

SBS’s “My Demon,” which notably competes in the same time slot saw its ratings decline to the 2% range, a first for the drama. It recorded 2.9%. Some attribute it to the one week hiatus while others believe its related to the finale of “The Story Of Park’s Marriage Contract.”

Considering that SBS has historically dominated the ratings battle in this same time slot, a drama recording 2% for such a premium time slot is a source of shock.

Meanwhile, KBS 2TV’s “Korea-Khitan War” recorded 10.2% while TV Chosun’s new drama “My Happy Ending” rose to 2.5%

tvN’s “Maestra: Strings of Truth” saw a dip to 4.7% while  “Welcome to Samdalri” also fell to 7.3%.
