Lee Joon Gi Revealed To Have Been Blacklisted By A Former Korean President, Here Is His Response
Shocking news were revealed last Monday, it was revealed that a list of Korean celebrities and public personalities had been blacklisted by the former Korean president Lee Myung Bak.
One of the most famous Korean faces that were blacklisted was none other than THE Lee Joon Gi. Fans were shocked by the news.
Fans grew worried about what had happened to their oppa back during the former president run from 2008-2013. The list was allegedly made to censor all those who opposed his views.
It is also suspected that Lee Joon Gi was against the president importing U.S. beef back in 2008. Other celebrities affected by this include Kim Gu Ra and Kim Je Dong.
The actor then took to his Instagram to express his gratitude towards his fans, he said,

Some believe that his participation in the film “May 18” was one of the reasons for the blacklisting because it spoke of the Gwangju Democratization movement.
