Lee Jong Suk Is Confident “While You Were Asleep” Will Do Well In Ratings
Lee Jong Suk seems to be pretty sure that “While You Were Asleep” doing well during its run.
The actor recently sat down for an interview to talk about Biz Enter, he shared his thoughts on his highly anticipated drama along with Suzy that is set to air late September.
Lee Jong Suk will play the character of Jung Jae Chan in the drama, previous pre-produced KBS drama “Descendants of the Sun” achieved tremendous success but other Korean pre-produced dramas didn’t have the same results.
In regards to ratings and worry that comes along with it, he said,
“A lot of people tell me that I choose good projects and scripts, but I think I was honestly lucky. But I am also sure luck will continue to be valid for ‘While You Were Asleep’”
This is the third collaboration between writer Park Hye Ryeon and Lee Jong Suk. They previously worked together on “Pinocchio” and “I hear your Voice” and both did so well with ratings and have been well received by the public.
About writer Park Hye Ryeon, he said,
“The author can compose a pre-produced drama perfectly.”
The actor has been currently busy promoting his new movie “V.I.P”, which tells the story of a North Korean official’s son who is a psychopathic serial killer.
