Actors Kim Woo Bin, Shin Min Ah and singer Lee Chan Won have made donations for flood recovery efforts.
On the 16th of July, Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association announced that Kim Woo Bin and Lee Chan Won have donated 100 million won to help the flood-affected neighbors.
Kim Woo Bin’s agency, AM Entertainment, stated, “We decided to participate in the donation with the hope that it would be a small help to those who have suffered significant damage from the heavy rain.”
Lee Chan Won expressed, “It is heartbreaking to see the increasing damages caused by the heavy rain. With the hope that everyone can return to their daily lives as soon as possible, I made the donation.”
Shin Min Ah also donated 100 million won for the people affected by the flooding. Her agency stated, “With the deep desire to convey heartfelt condolences to all those greatly affected by the recent heavy rainfall, she decided to contribute to the relief efforts.”
