Kim Dong Hee Accused Of Being A High School Bully, JYP Entertainment Vehemently Denies + Will Take Legal Action
Kim Dong Hee is among the string of Korean celebrities who have been accused of being bullies this past week.
Earlier last week, actor Jo Byung Gyu, and fellow “SKY Castle” actor, was accused of bullying by his former classmates. Last night, (G)I-DLE’s Soojin was also accused of bullying, and since then, many more celebrities have come under fire with posts by netizens claiming they were bullied by them, among those was Kim Dong Hee.
Recently, Netizens came out to accuse Kim Dong Hee of being a bully during his high school days; they accused him of bullying students and hitting them, particularly hitting disabled students and also smoking in his classroom. They attached photos of his smoking as well adding fuel to the fire.
This isn’t the first time Kim Dong Hee was accused of being a bully, in 2018; a similar post came up online as well.
On February 22, Kim Dong Hee’s agency JYP Entertainment firmly denied the accusations in an official statement; they promised strict legal action against the netizen who alleged this. JYP stated,
“After checking, the author of the post, who were a third party and not the actual victim had posted it and deleted the post, we didn’t take legal action.
However, three years later such false information have spread again. In response, we plan on taking legal action against the author of the post. We will do our best to protect our actors from being affected by the fake reports.”
Kim Dong Hee has been in many hit dramas such as SKY Castle, Itaewon Class, and Extracurricular. He is considered one of the most rising actors on the scene.
