In the tvN new drama “The Player 2,” which will premiere this June, Song Seung Heon, Oh Yeon Seo, Lee Si Eon, Tae Won Seok, and Jang Gyu Ri will showcase epic teamwork.
After six years since Season 1, ‘The Player 2’ is expected to captivate the audience once again with its solid storyline and the performances of trusted actors.
Song Seung Heon takes on the role of Kang Ha-ri, the leader of the ‘con’ artists who plans and designs operations. He is the best ‘scammer’ of this era, using someone’s tears to take away the pockets of those who deceive others. In order to destroy a giant evil force, Kang Ha-ri becomes even more meticulous and daring.
Playing the mysterious collaborator or observer leading him back to the ‘game,’ Oh Yeon Seo portrays Jung Soo-min. Like Kang Ha-ri, she is a woman with a commanding presence, leading the ‘con’ artists into a large-scale game
Lee Si Eon returns as the best hacker, Im Byung-min, who can infiltrate all computer networks if he has a computer. At first glance, he may seem afraid and easygoing, but he possesses a unique sense of humor and wit, along with profound consideration for others.
Tae Won Sok plays the strongest fighter, Do Jin-woong, responsible for the team’s combat capabilities.
Newly joining the team is Jang Gyu Ri, who portrays the character of Cha Ji-eui, the driver. She appears cold and meticulous on the surface but portrays the internal fragility and resilient strength of the character in a three-dimensional way.
“The Player 2” is set to heat up this summer as it airs on June 3rd.
