The shocking truth surrounding the divorce between actress Sunwoo Eunsuk (65) and her ex-husband, TV personality Yu Youngjae (61), has been revealed.
On the 23rd of April, Sunwoo Eunsuk’s legal representative announced that Sunwoo Eunsuk’s older sister, referred to as Ms. A, had filed a criminal complaint against Yu Youngjae for alleged sexual assault at the Bundang Police Station. They also revealed that Sunwoo Eunsuk had filed for nullification of marriage at the Suwon District Court in Seongnam on the 22nd.
Sunwoo Eunsuk’s side stated, “Starting from 2023, Yu Youngjae allegedly sexually assaulted Ms. A five times, including unwanted physical contact. A criminal complaint was filed against him at the Bundang Police Station.” They further explained that Sunwoo Eunsuk was greatly shocked and even fainted after hearing about the ordeal from her sister-in-law A, and this incident became the definitive reason for her decision to divorce Yu Youngjae.
The controversy surrounding Yu Youngjae was not the first. After the news of their divorce became known, there was a woman who had maintained a common-law relationship with Yu Youngjae while he was living with Sunwoo Eunsuk and just before their remarriage.
