tvN and Tving announced on the 19th of October that they have completed the casting for the new drama “Graduation” and have started filming.
“Graduation,” which will be released next year, depicts the romance between veteran academy instructor Seo Hye-jin (played by Jung Ryeo Won) and her student Lee Jun-ho (Wi Ha Joon), who returns after 10 years.
Jung Ryeo Won takes on the role of Seo Hye-jin, a veteran Korean language instructor who achieved the “Daechi-dong Miracle” after 14 years. With solid skills that do not waver, she is a quiet competitor who never gives up.
While contemplating her life after stepping down from the podium, a student who had put all his efforts into entering a prestigious university appears after 10 years. She begins to feel the excitement that she had forgotten amidst the harsh reality.
Wi Ha Joon plays the role of Lee Jun-ho, the protagonist of the “Daechi-dong Miracle,” who made Seo Hye-jin a famous instructor. He gives up his secure position as a large corporation employee and becomes a new instructor in Daechi-dong.
Director Ahn Pan-seok, who created dramas such as “Something in the rain,” “Spring Night,” and “Secret Affair,” is in charge of directing.
