SBS has unveiled a new exciting poster for the upcoming drama “Woori The Virgin”!
“Woori The Virgin” is rom-com drama that is a remake of the popular American tv-series “Jane The Virgin.” It tells the story of Oh Woo Ri (Im Soo Hyang) who is keeping her virginity till marriage but has an unexpected accident when she goes to the OB-GYN and gets pregnant through artificial insemination, the father turns out to be Raphael (Sung Hoon), the CEO of a cosmetic company who is a secret romantic hoping one day to meet someone who he will fall in love with and live happily with them.
Im Soo Hyang will play Oh Woo Ri, she is an assistant writer of a popular drama who unintentionally becomes pregnant with Raphael’s baby. Sung Hoon will play Raphael, the CEO of a cosmetic company who gets entangled with Oh Woo Ri after the accident. Im Soo Hyang and Sung Hoon are now reuniting after 11 years since their SBS drama “New Tales of Gisaeng,” making fans look forward to seeing them together again.
Shin Dong Wook will play Lee Kang Jae, a homicide detective who is Oh Woo Ri’s boyfriend, he is aware of her decision to keep her virginity till marriage and respects that. Hong Ji Yoon will play Raphael’s wife Lee Ma Ri, who only married him for appearance. While Hong Eun Hee will play Oh Eun Ran Oh Woo Ri’s mother and a vocal instructor who has always dreamed of becoming a singer.
The newly released poster features the main seven characters and their unique colors. The intriguing poses and expressions of these seven peopke give a friendly atmosphere, raising expectations for the upcoming romantic comedy.
First of all, Oh Woo Ri can be seen wearing a beautiful wedding dress while Raphael and Lee Kang Jae are leaning on her left and right. Kang Jae seem to be giving the bouquet to Woo Ri while the charming Raphael is standing closely to her, raising questions about the unpredictable love triangle that they will portray.
In addition, Oh Eun Ran and Choi Sung Il (Kim Soo Ro) are providing pleasant energy with their unique cheerful laughter. Seo Gwi Nyeo (Yeon Woon Kyung), who is Oh Eun Ran’s mother, can be seen happily pointing at the two people. However, the image below shows a different atmosphere as Seo Gwi Nyeo is angrily fighting with Choi Sung Il in a comical way.
On the other hand, Lee Ma Ri is standing lonely while staring blankly at something with eyes filled with sadness.
In particular, the saying “The play of fate has begun,” hints at the unimaginable incident that will take place in Oh Woo Ri’s life, raising viewers’ curiosity about the fate that will shake these people’s lives.
