Actress Han So Hee’s advertising contract termination news has become a topic of discussion after her dating reveal.
According to Lotte Chilsung Beverage on the 20th of March, the contract between the soju brand ‘Chum-Churum’ and Han So Hee as the advertising model expired in early March.
The brand stated that they did not renew the contract with Han So Hee after it expired, and that the next advertising model is undecided.
Last March, Han So Hee became the model for ‘Chum-Churum’ soju, and she previously declared she would step back from her SNS for her modeling activities, which delighted fans. Therefore, the news of her contract termination as a model has garnered even more attention.
The models for this soju brand have included Lee Hyori, Suzy, and BLACKPINK’s Jennie, showcasing a splendid lineup of models. Especially, Lee Hyori and Suzy have solidified their images as models for 5 years, and Jennie for 2 years, so the news of Han So Hee’s contract termination is regrettable.
It was also reported that Han So Hee’s advertising contract with NH Nonghyup Bank, where she had been active as a model for 3 years, has also expired. The bank is planning to start shooting with a new model.
Due to the announcements aligning with the dating news reveal and the subsequent backlash, many netizens began wondering whether her contracts weren’t renewed because of what had transpired the past couple of days.
A representative from Han So Hee’s agency told media outlets, ” Han So Hee’s advertising contract with ‘Chum-Churum’ ended earlier this month, and it was mutually agreed not to extend the contract.”
Han So Hee’s side added, “The decision not to extend the contract with NH Nonghyup Bank was made at the end of last year through mutual agreement, and it has nothing to do with the dating rumors.”
Han So-hee’s status as the model for the used car platform ‘Hey Dealer’ has also attracted attention as the comments section on her videos has been closed.
