JTBC’s “Frankly Speaking” confirmed its first broadcast this coming May!
The drama is led by Go Kyung Pyo and Kang Han Na and tells the whimsical and bold life story of announcer Song Ki Baek, who becomes uncontrollably reckless, meeting passionate entertainment writer On Woo Joo.
Go Kyung Pyo plays the role of ultra FM announcer Song Ki Baek, while Kang Han Na plays the role of On Woo Joo, a 12-year veteran entertainment writer whose ratings feed her. After a shock accident leaves Ki Baek unable to tell lies anymore, he becomes the “entertainment new continent” as predicted by Woo Joo. As Ki Baek falls into her entertainment radar, the two embark on a reversal of their lives.
The main poster released today captures the beginning of Ki Baek and Woo Joo’s narrative. Ki Baek’s normally neat hair is now messy, a post-it note with an ‘X’ on his mouth as if he refuses to speak, and he is being dragged by the determined Woo Joo. Woo Joo’s face, holding onto Ki Baek’s tie, is filled with a cheerful joy, as if she has discovered a new continent like Columbus.
With Go Kyung Pyo and Kang Han Na creating a hilariously intense drama through ruthless fact attacks, “Frankly Speaking” will premiere on JTBC on Wednesday, May 1st at 8:50 PM.
