Season 2 of the Disney+ drama “Big Bet” starring Choi Min Sik will be unveiled in February.
On January 25, Disney+’s original “Big Bet” side said, “We confirm the release of season 2 on February 15,” and released a still cut of the launch.
Season 2 of “Big Bet” will release up to three episodes at once on the premiere day, and then introduce a total of eight episodes premiering one every Wednesday at 5 p.m.
The launch still cut, which was released with the announcement of the release date of season 2, adds overwhelming tension for Choi Min Sik, who is in danger of crossing between life and death. In season 2, Cha Moo Sik (Choi Min Sik), who reigned as a casino legend, will face a bigger crisis. The drama is expected to develop a more explosive story with three unknown murders, the investigation by Oh Seung Hoon (Son Suk Ku), and new changes in trust and doubt between Yang Jung Pal (Lee Dong Hwi) and Seo Tae Seok (Heo Sung Tae).
The success of “Big Bet” is also drawing huge attention. It not only recorded the maximum viewing time in the first week of release among Disney+ Korean original works but also recorded the highest IMDb score among all global OTT Korean series.
Meanwhile, “Big Bet,” tells the intense story of Cha Moo Sik (played by Choi Min Sik), a man who became a casino legend in the Philippines without money or any connection, being caught up in a murder case and starting his last bet on the brink of life. Season 1 consists of a total of eight episodes, which are available every Wednesday at 5 p.m starting from December 21, 2022, and the last episode of Season 1 will be released at 5 p.m. on January 25.
