Actress Lee Se Young has confirmed her appearance in the new MBC time-travel drama “The Story Of Park’s Contract Marriage.”
MBC’s new Friday-Saturday drama “The Story Of Park’s Contract Marriage,” tells the story of a contract marriage between Park Yeon Woo (Lee Se Young), a 19th-century ambitious Confucian girl who crosses over time and reaches Korea in 2023, and Kang Tae Ha, a 21st-century emotionless boss king.
Above all, “The Story Of Park’s Contract Marriage” is a drama based on a web novel and webtoon of the same name, and director Park Sang Hoon, who showed sensuous and sophisticated directing skills in MBC’s “My Secret, Terrius” and “Radiant Office,” and writer Ko Nam Jung, who portrayed raging imaginations with bouncy handwriting in “Wife Scandal,” will join hands, drawing attention. On top of that, Lee Se Young, who created a sexual fanatic craze in South Korea by creating a never seen female character with “The Red Sleeve,” has confirmed her appearance, raising expectations.
Lee Se Young will lead the drama in the role of Park Yeon Woo, a Joseon Confucian girl who somehow reaches over to Korea in 2023 crossing over time of 200 years after being thrown into a well by an unidentified person in the drama. Park Yeon Woo faces Kang Tae Ha of ‘Modern Joseon,’ who had the same name and face as her husband, who died in front of her on the first night of their honeymoon, and even gets married to him through contract marriage. In addition, while being busy looking for a way to return to Joseon, everything begins to change little by little, as she starts subtly developing feelings for Kang Tae Ha of ‘Modern Joseon,’ who seemed like a scammer.
The production team said, “Lee Se Young, who has excellent acting skills, is an actor who fits the character of Park Yeon Woo who is a character in between a historical drama and modern drama, more than anyone else. Please look forward to Lee Se Young’s acting transformation.”
Meanwhile, MBC’s new Friday-Saturday drama “The Story Of Park’s Contract Marriage.” is scheduled to air in the second half of 2023.
