NewJeans has achieved a new feat after entering the Billboard main single chart “Hot 100” six months after their debut.

According to the latest chart (January 21) released by U.S. music media Billboard on January 17, NewJeans’ song “Ditto” from single album “OMG” ranked 96th on the main single chart “Hot 100.”

With this, NewJeans has become the first 4th Gen K-pop artist to achieve this feat on the Billboard Hot 100 and the fastest K-pop group ever on record.

In the meantime, there were four K-pop groups who entered the Billboard Hot 100: Wonder Girls, BTS, BLACKPINK, and TWICE.

With NewJeans’ entry in the “Hot 100,” the number of K-pop groups that entered the chart rose to five in number.

As solo artists, PSY, CL, Rose, and Lisa entered the “Hot 100,” while BTS members such as Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jin, Jungkook, Jimin, and V were also listed for solo and featured songs.
