The script reading pictures of “Taxi Driver 2” were revealed.
SBS’ new Friday-Saturday drama “Taxi Driver 2” is a private revenge act in which Rainbow Transportation, a taxi company, and Kim Do Ki, a taxi driver, complete revenge on behalf of an unfair victim. Based on the webtoon of the same name, the “Taxi Driver” series has stood tall at the box office, ranking fourth in the ratings of Friday and Saturday dramas in SBS history.
Furthermore, all major characters, ranging from Lee Je Hoon as Kim Do Ki, the representative driver of Rainbow Transportation, Kim Eui Sung, the representative of Rainbow Transportation, Pyo Ye Jin, who plays the role of Ko Eun, Jang Hyuk Jin, and Bae Yoo Ram, the role of Rainbow Transportation engineer duo, are returning. A new character, Shin Jae Ha, who plays the role of the youngest On Ha Joon, is also joining the team to raise expectations.
At the script reading site of “Taxi Driver 2”, writer Oh Sang Ho, who wrote the script following season 1, PD Ethan Lee Je Hoon, Kim Eui Seong, Pyo Ye Jin, Jang Hyuk Jin, Bae Yu Ram, Shin Jae Ha and other major performers attended.
In the midst of a friendly atmosphere where you can feel the affection of the actors and production team for the “Model Taxi” series, PD Ethan said, “I hope that the beauty of the process becomes the beauty of the result.” In addition, writer Oh Sang Ho said, “There are so many villains that we must not forget, and satire and humour are the best means. If we focused on completing the worldview in Season 1, in Season 2, we plan to change the genre more colourfully based on the worldview. We will go boldly.”
With the beginning of the script reading in earnest, the scene was filled with the exhilarating catharsis provided by the excitement unique to the “Taxi Driver 2” series and the good and the bad. In particular, from Lee Je Hoon’s trademark line, ‘5283, operation starts,’ to vivid car chasing scenes and action sequences unfolding in front of him, it made people look forward to the visual beauty of “Taxi Driver 2”, which will return on a larger scale than Season 1.
Lee Je Hoon’s natural acting as well as the upgraded humorous team play of Rainbow Transportation coloured the scene with pleasant laughter. All actors who play new characters, including Shin Jae Ha, also showed a clear presence.

“Taxi Driver 2” will premiere on February 17th, 2023.
