Uhm Tae Goo and Han Sun Hwa’s upcoming drama has confirmed its premiere date!
The production team of JTBC’s new Wednesday-Thursday drama “My Sweet Mobster” (written by Na Kyung, directed by Kim Young Hwan and Kim Woo Hyun) unveiled teaser posters on the 8th of May, featuring Uhm Tae Goo and Han Sun Hwa’s drastic image transformation.
“My Sweet Mobster” is a refreshing romance between “Big Brother” Seo Ji Hwan (played by Uhm Tae Goo), who has put his dark past behind him, and nanny Go Eun Ha (played by Han Sun Hwa), who entertains children.
The teaser poster released by the production team showcases Seo Ji Hwan’s unique accessory preferences. Seo Ji Hwan, radiating an unapproachable atmosphere with his black suit and intense expression, also wears heart-shaped accessories that bring laughter. In particular, the phrase “I’m ready for something pretty” above his two neatly folded hands sparks curiosity about Seo Ji Hwan’s character.
In another poster, titled “The doll is so cute, isn’t it?” we can catch a glimpse of Go Eun Ha, a kids’ content creator, lovingly looking at a doll that resembles Seo Ji Hwan. The black-suited Seo Ji Hwan doll and the pink toy create a sharp contrast, drawing attention to Go Eun Ha’s exceptional playfulness as she adorably treats the former “Big Brother” like a doll, helping him reclaim his lost innocence.
Furthermore, there is great interest in Uhm Tae Goo’s challenge in the romantic comedy genre, showcasing his talents in various genres. Since Uhm Tae Goo and Han Sun Hwa previously displayed a solid teamwork and chemistry in a mystery genre drama, their romance in “My Sweet Mobster” is highly anticipated.
“My Sweet Mobster” will premiere on June 12th at 8:50 PM on JTBC.
