MBC has unveiled new stills featuring Yang Kyung Won and Kwak Dong Yeon for their upcoming drama “Big Mouth”!
“Big Mouth” is an upcoming hard-boiled noir drama about a third-rate lawyer who becomes in charge of a murder case that turns him into a genius conman known as “Big Mouse.” In order to protect his family and survive, he must expose a huge conspiracy among the privileged upper classes. The drama stars Lee Jong Suk as Park Chang Ho, a third-rate lawyer with a 10% success rate. And Girls’ Generation’s YoonA as Go Mi Ho, a nurse, and Park Chang Ho’s wife.
The first newly released stills feature Gong Ji Hoon (who is played by Yang Kyung Won) he is the president of media tycoon Geukdong Ilbo. He can be seen wearing an elegant suit and exuding powerful charisma. He is a sensible man who was able to beat his older brothers and take over the family’s media company with his brilliance.
Gong Ji Hoon is also the leader of the NR Forum which is a secret organization of powerful business magnates. Despite all of that, he still has unresolved political ambitions. As if hinting at Gong Ji Hoon’s ambitions, he always has a confident attitude that raises questions about whether he will be able to overtake the genius con artist Big Mouse to get what he really wants.
On the other hand, Jerry (who is played by Kwak Dong Yeon) is a man who got convicted of fraud three times. Because he admired the genius con artist Big Mouse so much, he got his nickname from the famous cartoon “Tom and Jerry.” Jerry can be seen smiling widely showing his humorous personality. However, behind his smile is a criminal who committed fraud three times and hides his terrifying side with his bright smile.
The two-faced Jerry then meets Park Chang Ho (Lee Jong Suk) after he enters prison because he gets falsely accused of being Big Mouse. Jerry becomes Park Chang Ho’s ultimate loyal helper as he thinks he really is the true Big Mouse. Now viewers are looking forward to if Jerry will be able to recognize the real identity of Park Chang Ho who is the talkative lawyer known as “Big Mouth.”
“Big Mouth” is set to premiere on July 29.
