Wi Ha Joon, Claudia Kim And More Join Park Seo Joon And Han So Hee’s Upcoming Netflix Series “Gyeongseong Creature”

Netflix has unveiled the casting lineup for their upcoming series “Gyeongseong Creature.”

“Gyeongseong Creature” is a Creature thriller set in the spring of 1945, when the darkness of the times was the thickest, in which the two youths, for whom survival is everything, will confront the monster born over greed.

“Gyeongseong Creature” is a work having a production team of hitmakers. Writer Kang Eun Kyung, who has been loved for her writing skills across genres such as dramas “Dr Romantic” and “Gu family Book,” will be in charge of writing, while Director Jung Dong Yoon, who presented a detailed and powerful direction in “Stove League,” will invite viewers to Gyeongseong and turbulent places in 1945. The appearance of the monster that shook Gyeongseong and the story of those who struggle with people more monster-like than monsters themselves will give an overwhelming experience.

The cast is also spectacular. Park Seo Joon, who has continued his unbeaten record in box office success across genres with dramas such as “Itaewon Class” and “What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim,” will lead the drama to the top asset in Gyeongseong and the major general of the pawnshop Geumokdang. Park Seo Joon will play the role of Jang Tae Sang, who is known as Gyeongseong’s No. 1 source of information, considers money before justice but gets entangled with Yoon Chae Ok while chasing a series of missing cases and faces a completely different life.

Han So Hee, who proved her irreplaceable charisma in various genres through dramas such as the Netflix series “My Name,” “Nevertheless,” and “The World of the Married,” takes on the role of Yoon Chae Ok, a woman who searches for missing people. Since a young age, she’s learned how to get by in life with her father as they journeyed through Manchuria and Shanghai. She has survived terrible situations and is skilled at working with guns, knives, and such.

Actors who have a strong presence with their in-depth acting will also join.

Claudia Kim, who continues her global career with the movies “Avengers: Age of Ultron” and the Netflix series “Marco Polo,” plays Ma Eda, the mistress of the family who commands over Gyeongseong area. Ma Eda has a perfect poker face, intertwining with a series of disappearances, creating tension.

Actor Kim Hae Sook, who is loved for her acting skills in the dramas such as “My father is Strange” and “Hospital Playlist,” shows off her presence as strong support for Jang Tae Sang by playing the role of Na Wol Taek, a pastor of Geumok-dang.

Jo Han Chul, who showed various looks in the dramas such as “Hometown Cha-cha-cha” and “Vincenzo,” adds depth to the drama. Jo han Chul will play Yoon Jung Won, the father of Yoon Chae Ok, who is looking for his missing wife a decade ago.

Wi Ha Joon, who made a strong impression around the world with the Netflix series “Squid Game,” will play Kwon Joon Taek, Jang Tae sang’s best friend and independent soldier. Kwon Joon Taek joins Jang Tae Sang’s dangerous journey to save his missing colleague.

“Gyeongseong Creature,” which will offer intense story with a heated confrontation between the monster who appeared in Gyeongseong in 1945, will be released on Netflix.
