Nam Tae Hyun has broken his silence and addressed Seo Min Jae’s allegations against him.
On August 20, Seo Min Jae took to her Instagram to post a selfie with Nam Tae Hyun and numerous other posts accusing him of using methamphetamine and hitting her. She wrote, “Nam Tae Hyun does philopon (the brand name for methamphetamine in East Asian countries). His syringe is either in my room or in my office cabinet. He also hit me.”
She would repeat those posts throughout last night, she would post incoherent messages and delete them shortly after. Due to the allegations, police got involved and they will be investigating the situation. In an effort to do damage-control, Seo Min Jae took to Instagram on August 21 to take back the allegations she made against him. She said they are dating and they had a quarrel and what she said was a result of taking too much psychiatric medications. She says what she wrote last night was not true.
On August 21, following Seo Min Jae’s statement, Nam Tae Hyun took to Instagram to personally address the situation, however, he does not mention drug use. His brief statement reads as follows:
“Hello, I’m Nam Tae Hyun.
I apologize to those who may have been surprised by yesterday’s situation.
There was a quarrel between lovers, We made up well.I’m truly sorry for causing so many people concern about my personal problems.”
