BTS, SEVENTEEN, TWICE, BLACKPINK, Lisa, Stray Kids And More Nominated For Awards At The 2022 MTV Video Music Awards

The 2022 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) has announced the list of nominees and many kpop groups have been nominated.

On July 26 local time, MTV unveiled the official list of nominees for this year’s VMAs. BTS is the most nominated group this year with nominations in four different categories. They’re nominated for Best K-Pop, Best Choreography (“Permission to Dance“), Best Metaverse Performance (Minecraft), and Best Visual Effects (jointly nominated with Coldplay for “My Universe“).

The Best Kpop nominees are: BTS’s “Yet to Come (The Most Beautiful Moment),” ITZY’s “LOCO,” Lisa’s “LALISA,” SEVENTEEN’s “HOT,” Stray Kids’ “MANIAC,” and TWICE’s “The Feels.”

SEVENTEEN has been nominated for three different awards this year which are: Best New Artist, Push Performance of the Year (“Rock With You“), and Best K-Pop (“HOT“).

BLACKPINK is nominated for Best Metaverse Performance (PUBG), and Lisa is nominated for Best K-Pop (“LALISA“).

The 2022 MTV Video Music Awards will air live on August 28 at 8 p.m. ET. In the meantime, you can vote for the awards on MTV’s website here!
