KBS2’s “Café Minamdang” is off to a great start!

According to Nielsen Korea, the first episode of KBS2’s “Café Minamdang” scored an average nationwide rating of 5.7%. A strong and promising start to the drama.

“Café Minamdang” is a mystery-comedy about the events that unfold when a former profiler Nam Han Joon becomes a baksumudang (male shaman) and meets the violent crimes division’s team leader Han Jae Hee. The drama stars Seo In Guk, Oh Yeon Soo, Kwak Si Yang, and Kang Mina.

Seo In Guk is taking on the role of the fraudulent baksumudang Nam Han Joon, who is also a former profiler. He’s born into great fortune and has a handsome face, he’s considered the maverick of the shaman world. He uses his profiling skills to accurately guess what the customers want and resolve their problems. Oh Yeon Seo will be transforming to the violent crimes division’s team leader Han Jae Hee. A righteous woman, she’s quirky, sincere and doesn’t hold grudges. She doesn’t bow down to people with status and isn’t afraid of using her fist if something isn’t right.

Meanwhile, the latest episode of tvN’s “Link” recorded an average nationwide rating of 1.5%, a dip from its previous episode rating of 2.5%. This is also the drama’s lowest rating to date.
